SSVM, the brain child of late Sri. Sasthaprampil Sankarnkutty, a visionary, educationalist and social reformer was started its voyage in 2002.
As a socialy active person, Sri. Sasthaprampil Sankarnkutty has got ample opportunities to understand the need of the society in various aspects of life and had initiated to start various organisations to help them building their socioeconomic status.
Inorder to extend a sustainable support to the society, in 2001 Sri. Sasthaprampil Sankarnkutty together with his collegues has registered a Trust in the fond memory of his father Late. Sri. Sasthaparampil S. Velutha Kunju.
Being the Manager of various educational institutions like Highschool Muthukulam, Higher Secondary School - Muthukulam, Vocational Higher Secondary School - Muthukulam, he felt the need of a school providing quality education in English Medium to equip the new generation to compete in the new era.
In year 2002, Sri. Sasthaprampil Sankarnkutty has made the dreams of hundreds of people in to reality by opening the doors of this institution to the world.
Fulfilling his dreams, this institution had rolled out so many young achievers in flying colours year after year, since its inception.
