PRINCIPALS' DESK

Welcome to S.S.V.M Residential Central School,

We feel fortunate to be a part of such an engaged, forward thinking, passionate, and generous community.

At SSVM School, we are committed to functional yet simple instruction designed to educate the whole child so that he or she may become a practical, social human being and contributing members of the global society. Our devoted staff, supportive PTA and School Managing Committee is dedicated in providing education that readies the students for the challenges they may face and encourage lifelong learning. The entire school community has worked in unison to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can attain their highest level of achievement while meeting the diverse needs of all.

A critical element of maintaining an environment where students can learn, expand their creativity, and develop socio-emotional strength is through high standards of both students and staff members in our campus.  Students are expected to act responsibly and achieve to the best of their ability academically, behaviorally, and socially.  Staff members are expected to demonstrate integrity, courtesy, respect and model appropriate talk and dress code while in SSVM campus.

We encourage our children to seek support if they have a problem or have a concern. It is very important to listen to your child and provide encouragement to his or her best effort.  We also believe that the best way to be aware of your children’s progress is to communicate with their teachers.  In order to enhance the communication between parents and teachers, we have parent/teacher conferences once in two months for every class. We have regular PTA meetings where you can hear the latest information about what is occurring on our campus and have a voice in school decisions. We also provide regular updates and announcements through student's Hand Book.

Our school rules are carefully designed to protect you child's best interests and to help our students’ attain success. Students are responsible for knowing the contents of the SSVM hand book as it applies to rules and regulations.

I look forward to working with each and every one of you to create another great year! I encourage participation in our school community and encourage you to share your constructive suggestions and ideas. Please join me in making it our priority to provide every student with an outstanding education while maintaining a safe and supportive school community. We hold the keys to continuing SSVM's rich tradition of high quality education that fosters critical thinking, effective communication, academic achievement, self-respect, and learning through the arts in a happy way.

Sincerely,

Mr. Unnikrishnan Sreedhar.

Principal.
