Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
SSVM School follows a five day week consisting of 25 periods with each period is of 60 minutes.
Students are divided in to small groups and each group is allocated a Tutor, who is linked to the pupil's house. The Tutor supervises and takes a personal interest in a pupil’s work.
There is a tutorial period within the timetable for the close monitoring of academic progress and for the discussion in small groups of general issues, including matters of personal and social education.
A five minute break given between each period allows the pupil to refresh their minds, stretches their limbs and gives them an opportunity to reflect on what has been taught or just chat with friends en route.
Yoga, Music, Art, Karate, Dance, Design and Technology are compulsory subjects and are conducted two days a week.
